Sample Itinerary

Day 1 - Cairo
Arrive Cairo, Egypt.
Meeting and transfer to your hotel. Room will be available by 1.00 PM. Balance of the day at leisure.

 Overnight: Hilton Pyramid Hotel or similar

 Day 2 - Cairo 
Breakfast at the hotel.

 Full day sightseeing tour visiting Giza, the three Pyramids, the Great Sphinx, the Egyptian Museum, and the Old Bazaars of Khan El Khalili. 

 Transfer to the Giza station.

Overnight and dinner on board the night train.

 Day 3: Aswan
Arrive at the Aswan Railway Station.
Meet your guide and proceed for sightseeing tour of the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk and the Philae Temple.

 Overnight on board the motorship: Nile Premium or similar

 Day 4: Kom Ombo - Edfu

Sail to Kom Ombo and Edfu.  Visit the temple of Kom Ombo – dedicated to the gods, Sobek and Haroeris and the templ of Edfu – dedeicated to the god Horus.

 Overnight on board the motorship.

 Day 5: West Bank

Full day tour visiting Valley of the Kings, Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Colossi statue of Memnon, Luxor and Karnak temples.

 Overnight on board the motorship.

 Day 6: Luxor
Arrive Luxor and disembark.
Day free for independent activities.

Transfer to Luxor Railway Station.

 Overnight and dinner on board the night train.

 Day 7: Cairo - Departure

Arrive at the Giza Railway station.

Transfer to the Cairo airport.

Depart on your onward journey.

TRAIN INFORMATION

• It has many cars and each car has 10 cabins (10 beds in total)
• There are 02 bathrooms outside the cabins
• Each cabin has central AC and music
• In the middle of the train there is a Club Car (Bar wagon) where one can enjoy drinks (alcoholic or normal)
• Breakfast and hot Dinner is available
• No triple cabins  in the sleeper train

Visas
Non-Egyptian visitors arriving in Egypt are required to be in possession of a valid passport. Entry visas may be obtained from Egyptian Diplomatic and Consular Missions Abroad or from the Entry Visa Department at the Travel Documents, Immigration and Nationality Administration (TDINA). It is, however, possible for most tourists and visitors to obtain an entry visa at any of the Major Ports of Entry. Please check with your nearest Egyptian Consular mission for more details concerning visa regulations applying to your citizenship.
