Day 1 (Wed) – Arrive Beijing (No meals)

Meet and transfer to the Presidential Beijing.

Day 2 (Thu) – Beijing (B/L/-)

Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City and Summer Palace.

Day 3 (Fri) – Beijing (B/L/-)

Badaling Great Wall (2 hours visit at least), Jade stone workshop visit en route. Photo -stop at the Bird Nest & Water Cube.

Optional Kung Fu Show with Peking Duck dinner USD 60 per person.

Day 4 (Sat) – Beijing (B/L/-)

Temple of Heaven (watch local people doing all kinds of morning exercise, including Chinese Tai Chi ), & Pearl factory visit. Hutong tour by rickshaw with a home visit.

Day 5 (Sun) – Beijing/Xian (B/L/-)

Fly to Xi’an. Visit to the Provincial Museum & Big Wild Goose Pagoda.

Stay at the Jian Guo Hotel Xian.

Day 6 (Mon) – Xian (B/L/TD)

Full day excursion to the Terracotta Warriors Museum, and visit to the ceramics & pottery workshop en route. Enjoy the Dumpling Dinner and Tang Dynasty Show tonight.

Day 7 (Tue) – Xian/Chongqing (B/L/D)

Fly to Chongqing. Visit the Panda Zoo, and enjoy local flavored hot pot dinner before embarkation of the MV President No.6 Cruise (Deluxe 5-star Cruise, standard cabin with private balcony).

Day 8 (Wed) – Three Gorges (B/L/D)

Start our sail for a distance of 430 miles in all the great gorges and deep mountain valleys. Optional shore excursion in the morning to the ghost city of Fengdu, and visit Shibaozhai in the afternoon (included tour)

Day 9 (Thu) – Three Gorges (B/L/D)

Sailing into the Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge, and the river changes to wildly stirring, riffle water along with swirling bubbles. The mossy cliffs are hemmed by the banging pathways under the Twelve Peaks. When the boat gets to the famed Shennong Stream, we change to small boat and sail deep into the Shennong Stream (included tour). Then we return to our boat and continue sailing into the Xiling Gorge.

Day 10 (Fri) – Yichang/Shanghai (B/L/-)

Excursion to the Three Gorges Dam site (included tour) and pass through the 5 ship locks with lowering our boat down 412 feet, before we end our cruise at Yichang. Transfer to airport and fly to Shanghai.  Stay at the  Ocean Hotel Shanghai.

Day 11 (Sat) – Shanghai (B/L/-)

Full day visit to the Yu Garden, Shanghai Museum, the Bund, Xintiandi and Pudong New Development Zone.  Optional Acrobatic Show with dinner USD 60 per person.

Day 12 (Sun) – Shanghai/Suzhou/Shanghai (B/L/-)

Excursion to the water town Suzhou, including the Garden of Master of Nets, Silk Spinning Factory and Pingjiang Road Old Town Area.  

Day 13 (Mon) Exit Shanghai (B/-/-)

Departure transfer to airport.
